Day 01 : Europe - Chennai - Mahbalipuram
Arrive early morning into Southern India's largest city, Chennai (Madras) gateway to the sunny South. On your arrival in Chennai and you will be received by our representative and a 37-mile drive to Mahabalipuram to your hotel.

Day 02 : Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram
Breakfast at Hotel and depart for Kanchipuram the city of temples afternoon back to Mahabalipuram, the world heritage site famous for the monolith temples dating back to centuries.

Spend the afternoon in the sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram visiting shore temple, Arjuna's Penance, Krishna Mandapam, Five Rathas and beach. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03 : Mahabalipuram - Tanjore

Day 04 : Tanjore - Trichy - Tanjore
Breakfast at Hotel and depart for the visit of Trichy. Tour the Srirangam temple, one of the largest and most interesting temple complexes in India.

In the afternoon back to Tanjour and visit of The Brihadeeswara Temple built by Raja Chola is said to have been the tallest monument in ancient India, rising to a height of 241-ft in pyramidal form.

Day 05 : Tanjore - Madurai
Meenakshi TempleBreakfast at hotel and drive to Madurai visiting en route Chettinad villages near Karaikudi. Madurai city is planned out in the shape of a lotus with the famous Meenakshi temple in the center.

Day 06 : Madurai
Breakfast at hotel and depart for the visit of Meenakshi Temple and Madurai city. It is one of the biggest temple complexes in India.

The five pagodas that surround the temple are known for their intricate stucco work and the 156-ft high southern gopuram is the tallest. Thirumalai Mahal Palace is constructed in Indo-Saracenic style.

In the evening attend special temple prayer ceremonies.

Periyar MarketDay 07 : Madurai - Peryar
Breakfast at hotel and depart with an interesting drive through the scenic countryside to Periyar Reserve Park.

A dam constructed on a river led to the submersion of a large forest area and the formation of a lake.

The park contains elephants, tiger, sambar, barking deer, lion-tailed macaque and a rich bird life. Enjoy a cruise on Lake Periyar on a forest department run boat and visit a spice plantation.

Day 08 : Periyar - Kumarakom
